Health Care Programme for Students and Senior Citizens
Homoeopathic and Allopathic Clinical Service
We all are
aware of the importance of medical and health care
.
But how expensive it is now a days! Even middle class or higher middle class of
people can not afford general medical treatment not to speak of the downtrodden
and poor. In India the downtrodden and poor people prefer to die with the
disease rather than going in for medical treatment. It is our experience with
our own run Charitable Dispensaries,
Hospitals and Polyclinics spreaded all over the country!
Preventive
Health Care saves the family members from lot of burdens. For example, if Cataract
is detected timely and it is operated successfully, the Senior Citizens (aged
persons) in the house can go on with
their
daily routine, without becoming burden to their family
members. As the proverb goes -

a small
routine check up like Blood pressure check up,
Blood Sugar check up, other check ups
for old-age ailments and other problems with minor treatments can give
a lot of relief to aged people, especially to downtrodden and persons living
below poverty line.
Ramakrishna Math, Baranagar has been working in the field of Community Development Programme with the spirit of worship and service to 'Daridra Narayanas' (God in the Poor) as directed by Swami Vivekananda.
This Math has decided to take up Health Care Programme for students and Senior Citizens of the surrounding areas of Ashrama. The cost of Preventive Health Care Programme per person per year on an average is Rs. 4,000/-.
Patients are served by qualified doctors both Homoeopathic and Allopathic disciplines (Allopathic – ENT, Eye, Endocrinology, General Units etc.).
You may kindly donate to help the poor and neglected patients by contributing Rs. 4,000/- per annum to support our "Health Care Programme".
All donations are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Cheques/Drafts may be drawn in favour of "Ramakrishna Math, Baranagar" and sent to our address given below :
