Sub: Your help needed for Community Development Programme.

 You are aware of the Ramakrishna Movement started a century ago by Swami Vivekananda according to the wishes of his Great Master Sri Ramakrishna Deva with the motto i.e. for emancipation of the self and selfless service to the mankind.

Keeping in view the above motto, Ramakrishna Math, Baranagar which is the Origin and Genesis of the Ramakrishna Order has started Community Development Programme to serve poor and needy people, mostly slum-dwellers residing around the Math.

 Baranagar Math has following four programmes: 

1.     Happy Birthday to YOU (Free Milk Feeding Programme for about 200 poor and needy people. Donation of Rs. 2,000/- once in a year on your / your dear one’s birthday).

2.     Sponsor a Child (To sponsor slum dwelling poor and needy students for academic education. Donation of Rs. 2,100/- per semester or Rs. 4,200/- in a year).

3.     Health Care (General Health Care Programme for old and senior citizens and preventive care for children. Donation of Rs. 4,000/- in a year).

4.     Monthly Pecuniary Help Scheme (For helpless, old, handicapped people. Donation in two installments of Rs. 2,400/- or Rs. 4,800/- in a year. Targeted beneficiaries about 100 persons per month).

 You are welcome to participate in any one or more of the above programmes and become instrument to implement the vision of Swami Vivekananda to make strong, healthy, educated citizen and Prosperous India !
